Past Voices. Present Action. Future Impact.

Every March, Women's History Month raises awareness of the contributions women have made to events through history and society. It’s a time to ensure that women’s voices are heard, celebrated, and remembered. This year the theme is Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future.

Taking place 8 March every year, International Women's Day is a chance to acknowledge the achievements of women whilst raising awareness about discrimination and gender inequality.

During Women’s History Month, we want to:

Raise awareness of women’s history and the experience of women students to increase allyship.

Empower Exeter’s community of women students to deliver events across campuses.

Increase visibility and voice of women students at Exeter.

Listen to students to inform campaign and lobbying work on the issues that matter most.
