International students make up a quarter of the University of Exeter’s student population and this research project was conducted to explore their experiences. The findings revealed that students have had positive experiences of feeling safe in Exeter, having clear routes to access support, enjoying events and activities, and being part of a supportive University community. However, there are also some areas that need improvement such as practical support, meeting people, and academic experiences.
Check out our dedicated webpage to see what work’s being done to better support our international students.
Become a Superhero and get paid to tell us your opinions!

By exploring the highlights and lowlights of their university experience, we were able to identify the gaps in our current offerings and find ways to improve the overall student experience in collaboration with the University. Here are some of the research outcomes:
We’re lucky to have wonderful student staff who bring a fresh perspective and support us with our research. (You can check our page for any vacancies!)
