Celebrating and Empowering our LGBTQ+ Community

Creating safe spaces, amplifying voices, and honoring every identity with pride and purpose.

Celebrating and Empowering our LGBTQ+ Community

Pride is all about celebrating people coming together to show how far LGBTQ+ rights have come and to acknowledge that there is still more we can all do to fight against social injustices that many people within this community still face.

We want to shine a light on the powerful stories of the LGBTQ+ community, with the aim to continue building understanding, acceptance, and allyship across our campuses and within the Students' Guild.

Introduction

Pride Month is a time to honour, uplift, and stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. It’s a celebration of love, identity, and progress—while recognising the continued fight for equality and justice that so many still face today.

Here at the Students’ Guild, we’re proud to champion LGBTQ+ voices and stories, and to work towards campuses where every student feels seen, supported, and celebrated. We’re committed to building a more inclusive and vibrant community through understanding, visibility, and action.
