Hi, I’m Saanvi (she/her), a pansexual international MSc Clinical Psychology student. I love meeting new people and chatting about everything from café hopping and board games to Spotify playlists and Netflix recommendations. I want to create an open, supportive space to talk about challenges you face in your modules, whether it's fast-paced, overwhelming or if it prepares you for the real world, or even important concerns like how disappointing the ending of Stranger Things was.
During my undergraduate studies in India, I served on the student committee, where I learned the importance of active listening, advocacy, and creating supportive spaces. As an international student, I understand the challenges of settling into a new country from finding the nearest grocery store to choosing societies. I later became a Psychology Department Officer, strengthening communication channels, addressing student grievances, and using data-driven insights to create meaningful change.
As an international, pansexual psychology student, I bring an intersectional perspective that recognises how identity, culture, and wellbeing shape student experiences. I believe every student has unique strengths, and empowering them only creates a more vibrant community. As an aspiring psychologist, I would love to be the catalyst for your growth, your extra little push and cheerleader while advocating for inclusive, student-centred education and employability that foster belonging.
Every win shared here began with feedback from students like you — and every change reflects the impact you’ve made on campus, your course, and your community.
