My Focus Project

What should students know about you?

I’m a final-year Biological Sciences student who has been actively involved in student representation throughout my degree. I’ve spent the last two years serving on committees and currently work with both the Students’ Guild and the University. I’m passionate about improving student life, particularly accessibility and amplifying underrepresented voices, listening to student voices, and turning feedback into practical change across campus.

What experiences and skills make you the best candidate for the role?

I’m a proactive and approachable problem-solver with experience turning student concerns into action. I work well with diverse groups, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for seeing projects through. My experience balancing multiple roles has strengthened my organisation, adaptability, and commitment to improving student wellbeing, belonging, and day-to-day life across campus.

How would you ensure you effectively represent all students in the role?

I would represent students by actively listening to a wide range of voices, especially those less likely to engage, attempting to amplify them. I would make use of the Guild's multiple feedback channels, work closely with societies and reps, and be visible and approachable. I have the advantage that I am already familiar with these Guild systems. I would then communicate transparently and turn student feedback into clear, inclusive actions that reflect the diversity of the student body.

Working In Partnership

Thanks To You X Love Exeter

We’re working side-by-side with the University to make sure your voice leads to action. Together, we’ve already improved things that matter to you, and we’re not stopping here. There’s more to do, we’ll keep lobbying the University to make sure they keep listening.
