Get Involved

10,944 Society Members

Becoming a member of one (or several!) societies is one of the best ways to make friends and have fun during your time at Exeter. It’s never too late to join a society and see the full range of activities we have to offer.

2336 society committee members

Our society committees have worked hard this term to expand memberships, host regular events and organise incredible trips and campaigns. Their experiences develop key leadership skills to take on to their future careers.

306 Societies

From Harry Styles to Skateboarding there is a society for everyone. And if you think one is missing, you can create it! New societies are being registered every term.

620 students attended our Give It A Go events

We’ve provided opportunities to try something new like candle making, and visit places including Go Ape.  Our Give it a Go trips provide a low cost or free way to have fun and make new friends.

6681 hours spent in our music rooms

Did you know we have a recording studio open 24/7? We’ve even created a Spotify playlist to showcase the talent from our musicians this term!

Representing You

3925 voters in our elections

Choosing who will lead the Guild each year is one of the best ways for students to make their voices heard. This term we had some outstanding candidates asking for your votes.

479 Subject Reps

Your Subject reps are key to turning student feedback into change at course and faculty level, especially during a term where your learning has been disrupted by industrial action.

381 Guild Awards nominations

Every year we are amazed by the incredible passion and dedication of the students in our Exeter Community and love to celebrate them in our Guild Awards ceremony.
