Muslim student experience - wins!

We’re always here to listen to ways that we can improve your student experience and recently members of our Student Voice team met with our Islamic Society, where they shared some barriers they have encountered during their time at Exeter.

After hearing the issues, we have worked with departments at the University to ensure that students have access to Old Library prayer space 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We have also been able to start some very productive conversations regarding halal food visibility, and hopefully we will have a further update for you soon.

If you haven’t yet heard, the University has revealed some exciting plans for a new Multi Faith Centre in the heart of the Streatham campus. You can read more about the plans here.

We’re also working on raising some other issues, again more updates once we’ve got some outcomes to share with you.

Your Guild is continuing to work to make meaningful changes across Exeter campuses. Have you experienced anything similar that you would like to change? Speak to the Voice team (voice@exeterguild.com)
