University of Exeter Students’ Guild Prize Draw Terms and Conditions 2023

By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.

The prize draw is being run by the University of Exeter Students’ Guild (hereafter known as the Students’ Guild).

Eligibility to enter

The prize draw is only open to voters in the Leadership Elections 2023 during 22-23 February 2023, entrants must be registered University of Exeter students, and eligible to vote in the Leadership Elections.

In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.

A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted (regardless of how many positions you vote for in the Election).  

The prize draw is free to enter.

How to enter

The prize draw will only include those individuals who have submitted a vote in the Leadership Elections 2023 during 22-23 February and have entered before 16:00 on 23 February 2023.

To enter the prize draw you will need to submit a vote in the Leadership Elections 2023.

The Students’ Guild will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.

The prize

There are 5 prizes, which will be allocated to winners at random. Prizes are unlocked at each level of votes received. If the specified number of votes are not reached, the Students’ Guild reserves the right to withhold these prizes from the prize draw.

The Students’ Guild’s use of particular brands as prizes does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.

The winners will be drawn at random.  

The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.

We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.

The decision of the Students’ Guild regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winner announcement

The winner will be notified by email no later than Tuesday 28 February via University of Exeter email address.

Receipt of the prize

Prizes must be collected in person, from either Guild Reception (Devonshire House, Streatham) or G48 Reception (South Cloisters, St Luke’s). Winners must show the email confirmation of their prize and Unicard identification.

Date Protection and publicity

You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by the Students’ Guild for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.

An announcement of the winners first names may be put out on our social media channels (@exeterguild). We may ask for a photo of winners with their prize but will only post this photo on social media channels with the written consent of the winners.

All personal information shall be used in accordance with the Students’ Guild privacy notice.

Limitation of Liability

The Students’ Guild does not provide any form or practical or IT support for this prize. On receipt, all responsibilities relating to warranty and the produce are that of the prize winner.

General

The Students’ Guild reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
