Delayed Payments

At the Advice Service, we understand that money can be tight for many students, and University may also be your first time budgeting and managing your own money. Alternatively, student parents and those with other caring responsibilities may also be juggling restricted finances. Students may experience financial hardship for a variety of reasons but it is always best to speak to someone in the first instance to look at getting things sorted. If you are worried about your student finance, come and speak to one of our advisors. We can give you further help and information including details of the University’s Hardship and Retention Fund, Emergency Loans and setting up payment plans.

You can also find information online about the University's hardship funding - see https://www.exeter.ac.uk/financialhelp/ for details and email us if you have any questions or would like support in understanding or applying for hardship funding.
