You'll help to develop and sustain the Guild’s Music Facilities through delivering our equipment rental service, delivering studio training and at times providing email support on the music@exeterguild.com account. There is also a live sound component of this role, in regular Ram Music Mondays.

Most in-person interviews take place at Devonshire House on Streatham Campus in Exeter (EX4 4PZ).
We’ll send you everything you need to know in advance including where to go. We recommend arriving about 15 minutes early so you’ve got time to settle in.

An assessment centre is a group meeting which enables us to get to know you more, see how you interact with other people and work as a team and see how you approach a range of tasks and activities.
Start by reading the role profile and having a look around our website to learn more about who we are and what we do.
We will send you the interview questions in advance. Think about examples that show your skills and experience and use the STAR method to structure your answers. Most importantly, make sure you’re answering the question clearly. Don’t worry, you can bring notes with you.
Interviews are designed to be straightforward and supportive - no trick questions. Interviews are a useful way for us to get to know you and gives you the chance to meet the recruiting manager and some of the people you will be working with, as well as ask any questions you might have.
Your interview will either be in person or online. We have a smart-casual dress code so no need to wear a suit!
We'll ask you between 4-6 questions which we’ll send to you in advance to help you prepare.
You may be asked additional questions based on the answers that you provide. For example, if the panel want a bit more information, they might ask you “Can you expand on that?’ or if they want you to provide an example of a skill, they might ask you “Do you have an example?”. If you don’t understand what a question is asking, please ask us to clarify.

Your manager will give you a call to offer you the role and talk through next steps.
After that, you’ll receive your offer letter via email, complete onboarding, and undertake a right to work check. Once everything’s sorted, you’ll receive your contract and be ready to get started.
