In this role, you will be advancing equality, diversity, and inclusivity at the Guild and for students at the University of Exeter. You will support the Officer team to create positive change in this area through research, analysis, and outreach.
This role enhances the work of the Guild by researching, mapping, and engaging with our diverse student community groups. You will support marginalised communities and work alongside them to identify and remove barriers to participation in our Community Development and Student Voice project strands.
We are looking for a passionate student to help us shape our communications to be more engaging and student-led. In this role, you’ll be making relevant and captivating content for key projects, supporting us with event coverage, and capturing key parts of student life.
In this role, you'll be supporting the work of our volunteer student representatives and help them develop innovative solutions for their student community. You will facilitate the delivery of the Guild’s wider provision of Academic Representation and Student Voice support across the University.
In this role, you'll be working with the Insights Team to analyse data, create reports, support others to take action. You'll be helping us to understand the student experience and highlight any improvements we can do to ensure all students love their time at Exeter.
In this role, you will be directly engaging with members of our student groups by answering enquires, processing finances, and offering guidance and support. You will also have the opportunity to get involved with projects designed to further develop the Activities area.

You’ll be one of the key staff contacts supporting over 300 student-led societies. Providing and support and facilitation in volunteer management such as recruitment, induction, training, reward and recognition.
As our Head of Belonging and Support, you will lead the systems, services and communities that help students build confidence, develop relationships and make the most of their university experience.

An assessment centre is a group meeting which enables us to get to know you more, see how you interact with other people and work as a team and see how you approach a range of tasks and activities.
Start by reading the role profile and having a look around our website to learn more about who we are and what we do.
We will send you the interview questions in advance. Think about examples that show your skills and experience and use the STAR method to structure your answers. Most importantly, make sure you’re answering the question clearly. Don’t worry, you can bring notes with you.
Interviews are designed to be straightforward and supportive - no trick questions. Interviews are a useful way for us to get to know you and gives you the chance to meet the recruiting manager and some of the people you will be working with, as well as ask any questions you might have.
Your interview will either be in person or online. We have a smart-casual dress code so no need to wear a suit!
We'll ask you between 4-6 questions which we’ll send to you in advance to help you prepare.
You may be asked additional questions based on the answers that you provide. For example, if the panel want a bit more information, they might ask you “Can you expand on that?’ or if they want you to provide an example of a skill, they might ask you “Do you have an example?”. If you don’t understand what a question is asking, please ask us to clarify.

Your manager will give you a call to offer you the role and talk through next steps.
After that, you’ll receive your offer letter via email, complete onboarding, and undertake a right to work check. Once everything’s sorted, you’ll receive your contract and be ready to get started.
