How much will it cost?

June 22, 2022

The cost of studying at the University of Exeter will depend on the level of your study, the course you are taking, whether you are studying full-time or part-time, and what your fee status is. When applying, you should carefully review the fees and funding information on your course webpage to make sure you understand the cost and funding options for your programme of study. You can search for this information through the ‘study’ section of the University’s website.

For a home (UK) student taking a full-time undergraduate degree, each year of study will usually cost £9,250. For most students in this position, funding to cover these costs will be available from Student Finance England, Student Finance Wales or a similar funding body. These pages contain more information about your entitlement to such funding, what you need to do to access it, and common questions we get asked about student loans.

Different arrangements for fees and funding apply to international students, students taking postgraduate degrees, and students whose study is funded by the National Health Service (NHS). Again, these pages contain information on the relevant funding.

As well as the costs of your degree, you will need to cover your living costs while you are studying at the University. The other finance advice pages on this website include key information about this, including budgeting, support available to specific groups of students, and other advice and sources of help for students facing financial difficulties.

We hope these pages will help you to find the information you need. If you read through this information and require further support, please email advice@exeterguild.com or book a drop-in appointment with an adviser.
